We could stay 3 weeks in mexico in our fav upscale hotel for the price of one week here. This is one reason we would not return here. Triple every price (while adding 27% to EVERYTHING) bring as much food as you can for any meal possible. When they say food is expensive, this is a understatement. 2- the pool was nice at the end of the day away from the crowds of the main hotels and you had access to the point for food and and a bar. So if you want: space, washer/dryer and full kitchen, this really is for you. The perks of this resort: 1- It will save you a bundle, we paid just under 3G’s for a 2 bedroom- the 2bedroom at the Royal and reef go from 12 to 17grand. We arrived at 3, but had to wait till 3.40 for room to be ready… we had a nice unit in building 5 overlooking water.
We rented through redweek and the owner was flexible and helpful after rescheduling 4 times because of COVID. The not so great, that they COULD address snd. Then you get your bill at the end of the week and they another 27% to the already taxed meals and drinks! What?
